Frozen fruit, protein-rich yogurt, and milk make these yummy pink popsicle treats perfect for a kids’ dessert or snack!
My girls love sweet treats.
Especially ice cream and popsicles.
They could eat frozen desserts any time of day, any time of year.
Even in the middle of winter.
I’m not a big fan of having ice cream and popsicles every day, but these frozen yogurt pops are a much healthier alternative.
The kids love them, and I feel good about what’s in them.
We both win!
Our Homemade Frozen Yogurt Pops
I used sweetened vanilla yogurt, almond milk, and frozen strawberries and bananas.
We almost always have a few frozen bananas available in the freezer.
Saving peeled, ripe bananas in the freezer makes it really easy to toss one in the blender for a quick smoothie or “ice cream”!
If you’d rather use unsweetened yogurt, feel free to add a touch of sweetener like honey or maple syrup especially if you are using a fruit (or a veggie) that is not super-sweet.
This recipe is very similar to our Frozen Yogurt Drops, which are also really fun for the kids to make!
I also like using regular ol’ ice cube trays because they are perfectly portioned for my little eaters.
Too often larger popsicles melt and fall off the stick before my kids have eaten half of it, which just results in a sticky mess and a sad toddler.
How to Make Frozen Yogurt Pops
The recipe for this is really simple.
Blend yogurt and milk with fresh or frozen fruit to a smooth consistency.
I just eyeballed it and used a frozen banana, several large frozen strawberries, a heaping cup of sweetened vanilla Greek yogurt, and about a cup of unsweetened almond milk.
(The printable recipe is below for those who prefer not to eyeball things. 🙂 )

Pour in ice cube trays and insert a toothpick like this one that we used or clean popsicle sticks into each space.
Freeze for 4-6 hours.
Or until you just can’t stand to wait any longer!
Pop them out and enjoy!
If you do pull them out early, just be aware that the frozen yogurt pops will be more prone to sliding down the toothpick and falling off!
Fun Tools to use
Here are a few tools you can use to add a little extra whimsy to your frozen yogurt pops.
These animal picks look really cute popping out of the tray. The forked bottom keeps the yogurt pops on more securely, and these picks are great to use at mealtimes with cheese and cut fruits and veggies, and sandwiches!
These cat picks are really cute, too!
You can’t go wrong with these popsicle molds for a classic frozen pop look.
Which ones do you think your kiddo would like to try?
