Babies are simultaneously easy and difficult to buy Christmas presents for. They won’t remember these first Christmases, but it’s so hard not to buy them anything!
In this shopping guide, I’ll share over 20 practical and fun stocking stuffers for babies, and at the end I’ve included some stuff for Mom!
*edit: Find the updated 2019 list here.
Does your family fill stockings for Christmas? I never had a stocking as a child, and when I got married, I didn’t see them as anything more than a decoration.
But last year, someone gave our two-year-old a personalized Christmas stocking, so this year, I got a personalized stocking for our five-month-old.
So now, we need some little stocking stuffers.
Let the shopping begin!

Stocking Stuffers for Baby
Food and Feeding
Food pouches. Try the exotic Plum Organics Just Mangos (my favorite fruit!). Food pouches are an excellent stocking stuffer for babies who have just started solids.
Happy Baby organic Greek yogis. I have a confession to make: I eat these sometimes… They’re GOOD. Baby will LOVE them.
Bibs! Depending on the age of your baby, you can choose a 2-in-1 bandana teether bib or a bib with crumb catcher pocket. This one from Skip Hop has coordinating plates, bowls, placemats, utensils, and more! A set of these would make a perfect stocking stuffer. We have the owl set 🙂
Bumkins DC Comics Silicone Muscle Bib. Shopping for a superhero? He will love this silicone Batman bib with MUSCLES! Make sure you clean between the abs after meals. (Bumkins also makes sleeved Wonder Woman bibs and bibs with superhero capes. Be sure to check those out too!)
Munchkin soft-tip infant spoons. We were always running out of baby spoons when our oldest was an infant. Stock up! These are easy for Mom and Dad to hold and gentle on toothless gums.
Miracle 360 sippy cups. Our toddler STILL uses these! I love them because they look and feel like a regular cup. You can drink from any side of the cup, but the lid keeps everything from spilling! Sucking on the rim will release the silicone top and let liquid through. (I’ve had a lot of questions about how these cups work. I didn’t know until I drank from it myself.) The stainless steel version will hold up through many, many falls off the high chair.
Cute Accessories
Cloud Island Bow and Headband Set. If you’ve got a girl, you’ve got to accessorize. For baby girl, that means headbands, bows, hats, hair clips, (if she’s got enough hair!) and cute shoes (because shoes just keep getting more and more expensive every year she grows). I just love the color of this Cloud Island Set.
Cloud Island Bowtie and Suspenders Set. For baby boys, pick up fun socks, bowties, hats, and little shoes. This clip-on checked bowtie and matching suspender set will look extra special on your little man for the holidays.
Bright Starts Taggies Cozy Coo Ring Pal. Pacifiers can be an accessory too right? The ring shape of this Cozy Coo Ring Pal makes it easy for little ones to grab, and the taggies will keep them busy when the paci is not in use.
Teethers Galore
Babies’ teeth begin to show around 4-6 months, though it could be sooner or later depending on your baby!
Teething toys like this Silicone Latte Teether from Itzy Ritzy will soothe sore gums and can be chilled for even more soothing.
RazBaby Razberry Teether. This cute teether has a fun texture and can be frozen as well. We have friends whose teething baby was only happy when he had this Razberry Teether! Pick up two so you can have one to use and one in the freezer.
Baby Banana Teething Toothbrush. I guess I’m just really into fruit teethers! We were gifted this baby banana teething toothbrush and I’m excited to try it. I think our baby will look hilarious chewing on this banana toothbrush. The bristles will also soothe her poor little gums whenever she starts teething!
Toys and Books
If you didn’t get baby enough toys for Christmas, here’s your chance to redeem yourself.
Baby Einstein Take-Along-Tunes. We used it as a special getting-in-the-car-seat toy to keep our baby happy whenever we put her in her car seat. I like it so much that it’s featured in our Musical Toys gift guide!
OBall Go Gripper cars. Get either these little ones or one big one. Both are great options. We rolled these to encourage our oldest daughter to crawl. It worked, but what was even more effective at getting her to crawl was sweet cereal puffs 🙂
Manhattan Toy Finger puppets. Stash these in your purse for entertaining on the go. Or snag a finger puppet board book.
Lamb Security Blanket. Lambs are just the epitome of cuddliness! I ADORE this soft, cuddly lamb lovey. It has a subtle gingham pattern on the blanket which is so pretty.
Stroller toys. This adorable little cloud from Skip Hop is the perfect toy to clip to the car seat or stroller. It vibrates when you pull on the cloud teether handle.
My First Little Library. These six little board books will keep little hands busy and minds engaged. There are so many mini libraries to choose from!
Textured blocks and balls. These Infantino Gaga Balls, Blocks, & Buddies is a 20 piece set that will fill your whole stocking! Build, roll, and play with baby. Or just put them all in a box and let baby take them out of the box. And repeat.

More for Baby Mama
Why should everything in the stocking be for baby? After all,
a happy mama = a happy baby
Treat yo’ self.
Hot+Cold Gel Bead Eye Mask. Definitely an underrated product. First of all, you can freeze or microwave it to use it cold or hot. Use it as an eye mask to soothe those tired, up-all-night-because-baby-is-crying eyes. Or if you’re nursing, stick it in your bra. Remember, warm makes milk flow and cold makes it stop.
Garnier SkinActive 3-in-1 Face Moisturizer with Rose Water. This product saved my skin during pregnancy. I had itchy, dry skin on my face, and this moisturizer from Garnier made it all go away! I love the sweet rose scent and how soft it makes my skin, especially in the winter! For less than $10, you get a giant tub of this stuff. I use it on my arms, hands, and neck as well as my face!
Earth Mama Angel Baby Organic Milkmaid Tea. Nursing mamas who want to increase their supply, this tea is for you! I like it best iced with a good drizzle of honey, but in the winter, hot tea is perfect.
If you want to learn more about breastfeeding and increasing your supply, check out Milkology. This site has a ton of info on breastfeeding, including like freebies like breastfeeding guides and email courses, as well as two awesome courses on breastfeeding and pumping.
Contigo TwistSeal Eclipse 16 oz Travel Mug. Whether you’re a coffee addict drinker or a tea drinker, if you’re a mom, any hot beverage you want to drink is bound to get cold by the time you have a moment to sit down and drink it! Do yourself a favor and use this travel mug even if you’re still in your pajamas and have no intention of leaving the house.
