Raise your hand if you did too much online shopping last weekend.
🙋🏻♀️ Guilty!
We have tons of perfectly good cardboard boxes, and what better way to make use of these boxes than by wrapping them up for a Stack-the-Presents Game!
How to Set Up the Game
First, wrap your presents. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but I think it’s more fun if the cardboard boxes actually look like presents.
You could even have your kids color all over the boxes instead of wrapping them, if you want.
I used three different patterns of wrapping paper.
I also used packing tape to tape the seams and edges down. It’s kind of a pain to rip strips of packing tape, but I think it helps the wrapped boxes last longer.
I plan on using the boxes as Christmas decorations this year, so fingers crossed they survive multiple rounds of the Stack-the-Presents Game!
How to Play the Game
Line up the boxes, and start stacking.
How high can your kids stack the boxes? How high can you stack them?
Count each stack.
Then try stacking by size, by pattern, by color, etc.
Who knew cardboard boxes could be so much fun?
Your Turn to Stack the Presents
Get those cardboard boxes out of the garage, and start stacking!
