Weather in the Midwest is a funny thing. It could be 70 degrees out and we all have the A/C on, and the next day there’s a blizzard.
I wish I were exaggerating, but it happened this spring.
Or as we call it, “second winter.”
Now it’s officially summer, and while there are more warm sunny days, there are almost equally as many stormy, drippy, cold days.
Bleh.
This day is another one of those cold, wet days, so we made a milk jug catcher and played indoors rather than outdoors.
How to Make a Milk Jug Catcher
Did you ever make one of these as a kid? So freaking easy.
You’ll need:
- a milk jug (the plastic kind, obvs)
- scissors
Cut the bottom off a clean, plastic milk jug.
That’s it.
Hardest part is drinking all the milk and remembering to save the jug.
How To Play with a Milk Jug Catcher
Grab a ball and play catch with your freshly cut milk jug catcher.
Make one for all the neighborhood kids (that’s a lot of milk!!) and have a milk jug catching tournament.
You’ll be the most popular house on the block. Kids will be banging on your doors all summer wanting to play in your yard.
Which… maybe is not something you want.
Never mind.
Just make one milk jug catcher.
Just one.
